Experiencia intercultural en el aula “La música nos une”

Resumen: La escuela es lugar de encuentro entre culturas ofreciendo múltiples vías para alcanzar un verdadero intercambio intercultural. Entre ellas destaca la Educación Musical por ser un área especialmente interesante para abordar las relaciones interculturales y de integración de un alumnado inmigrante cada vez más mayoritario en nuestras aulas. El proyecto “La Música nos une” fomenta la participación activa y el respeto por las diferentes manifestaciones culturales. La elaboración de materiales musicales enfocados a lo intercultural beneficia a toda la comunidad educativa, siendo necesaria la participación conjunta de escuela, familia y sociedad para lograr su efectividad.

Intercultural experience in the classroom“The music joins us”

Abstract: School is a place where cultures coexist and offers multiples ways to achieve the latter, and one of them is via Music Education. This interesting area has particular features so as to approach intercultural relationships and social inclusion of immigrant students in our classrooms. The project entitled ‘Music joins us’ promotes teaching experiences in the music classroom and improves the active participation
 of students and the respect for other cultures different to ours. Making intercultural school materials benefits the whole educational community, but in order for these materials to be effective, we need the involvement of school, families and community.

Resumen: El período de mayor actividad como concertista de guitarra de América Martínez se desarrolló sobre todo en su juventud. Aunque para ella la docencia siempre tuvo mayor protagonismo, gracias a su faceta concertística asimiló el particular clima sonoro propio de la guitarra en su época y adquirió un profundo conocimiento de las necesidades de toda índole que requiere el ejecutante frente al público.

Abstract: The period of major activity like soloist of guitar of America Martínez developed especially in his youth. Though for her the teaching always had major protagonism, thanks to his interpretive facet she could assimilate the particular sonorous own climate of the guitar in his epoch and acquired a deep knowledge of the needs of any nature that the performer needs opposite to the public.

Creación musical y audiovisual en la educación secundaria

Resumen: Este artículo muestra el desarrollo didáctico de un proyecto de innovación que ha incorporado la música popular actual y los géneros audiovisuales vinculados a ella a la enseñanza de música. Para ello, el proyecto ha consistido en la creación de videoclips a partir de canciones compuestas e interpretadas por los propios alumnos. Lógicamente, con el fin de poder llevar a cabo estas tareas también ha sido necesario que los alumnos aprendieran otras destrezas, como la lectura de otros sistemas de notación o el manejo de instrumentos que no habían utilizado anteriormente, como la guitarra eléctrica, el bajo o la batería.

Musical and audiovisual creation in the Secondary Education

Abstract: This article shows the didactic development of a innovation proyect that has integrated the popular music and the audiovisual genres into the music education. Thus, the project has consisted of the creation of music videos from songs composed and interpreted by the own pupils. Logically, in order to be able to carry out these task it has also been necessary for the students to learn other musical skills, as the reading of other systems of notation or the learning to play music instruments that they had not used previously, like the electric guitar, the bass or the drum kit.

Resumen: El artículo investiga y analiza las razones para fundar una agrupación bandística de este tipo, proyecto algo difícil ya que de inicio contaba con ochenta y ocho profesores y se pretendía crear una agrupación diferente a las ya existentes. La agrupación ha cumplido recientemente cien años.

The Foundation of the Symphonic Municipal Band of Madrid

Abstract: The article investigates and analyzes the reasons to found a group of band of this type, slightly difficult project since of beginning it was possessing eighty eight teachers and one was trying to create a group different from the already existing ones.The group has celebrated recently hundred years of his birth.

La música en las Reales Sociedades Económicas

Resumen: El presente artículo muestra las diferentes actividades musicales que se realizaron en el seno de las Reales Sociedades Económicas de Amigos del País en España entre la segunda mitad del siglo XIX y la primera del XX. El texto demuestra la importancia de las diferentes escuelas y academias de música dependientes de las Sociedades Económicas en la educación musical reglada y cómo desembocaron la mayoría de estos centros en los diferentes conservatorios oficiales de sus respectivas ciudades, siendo, en muchos casos, gérmenes directos de éstos.

Teaching music in Economic Societies

Abstract: The present article discuss the different musical activities that were carried out in the Royal Economic Societies of “Amigos del País” in Spain between the second half of the 19th century and the first half of the 20th. The text demonstrates the importance of the different music schools and academies of said Economic Societies in regulated music education, and how the majority of these centers evolved into official music conservatories in their respective cities.

Escuchando “entre líneas” la Sinfonía Patética

Resumen: Las partes orquestales de la frase inicial del IV tiempo de la Sexta Sinfonía de Tchaikovsky están sistemáticamente entrecruzadas. No obstante, el pasaje se escucha como si hubiera sido escrito “literalmente”. Se desconoce la razón por la que Tchaikovsky escribió este motivo musical tal como lo hizo. El propósito de este artículo es dar a conocer una posible explicación a este enigma. Primero se trata la escritura y la percepción del fragmento musical. A continuación se considera el principio perceptivo operante. Después se citan algunas ideas que se han escrito sobre la posible intención de Tchaikovsky. Por último se propone una explicación basada en razones expresivas.

Listening to the Pathetique Symphony “between the lines”

Abstract: The orchestral parts of the initial phrase of the IV movement of Tchaikovsky’s Sixth Symphony are systematically interwoven. Nevertheless, the passage is listened as though it had been written “literally”. The reason why Tchaikovsky wrote this musical motif as he did is unknown. The fundamental purpose of this article is to present a possible explanation for this enigma. First, the writing and  the perception of the musical fragment is commented. Next,the operating perceptive principle is considered. After this, some ideas that have been written about Tchaikowsky’s purpose are cited. Finally, an explanation based on expressive reasons is put forward.
